About the Artist
I’m Jane Provoncha, a Dallas-based artist known for pastel-hued florals, bright abstracts, and feminine, nature-inspired artwork. Impressionistic floral shapes define my work, as well as colors that exude joy and celebrate traditional design.
A self-taught artist, I take inspiration from living and traveling with my family all over the country. Growing up in the northeast, taking my kids to national parks like Glacier and Yellowstone, summers in Maine, and settling in Texas all influence the natural elements in my work and give me an appreciation for artwork that brings the outdoors in!
Growing up in upstate New York, I always enjoyed artistic endeavors, like creative writing and putting on plays. I studied Political Science in college. It wasn’t until ten years later, when my husband and I moved to the South, that I was inspired by the colorful interior design in Dallas, and began painting! As a parent of two young kids, painting is my creative outlet and favorite pastime while they’re at school.
My goal is for my artwork to be a unique piece in your home that energizes you, brings a natural element inside, and contributes to a gorgeously-decorated space. I hope that collecting my work helps you create the kind of curated home where you and your family feel intentionality and love.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be serving as Art Chair for the 2025 Scottish Rite for Children’s Summer Colors Art Auction! Scottish Rite is a Texas hospital providing orthopedic care for children from all over the country. As a young teen, I had orthopedic surgery to correct scoliosis, which is a curvature of the spine. After donating my art in 2024, I’m thrilled to be coordinating the art for this year’s event.
